      We’re sorry but New Image is structured for tinting homes and buildings and is no longer available for automotive tinting

      Not necessarily since the shiny aluminum foil look is a film which is still being used but the choices are many with the technologies that exist with the modern films. If you like the shiny look, which a lot of people do, it is still widely used 

      There is a wide range of shades available which is always explained during your free consultation with a window tinting professional. It is highly advised to meet with a professional to pursue your options with the various window film colors and shades which are available to help you keep the cosmetic appeal of your home or business.       Not at all since automotive film uses similar technologies that they use to make flat glass films but the difference between the two types of films is pretty major.  You should never use an automotive film on a house window since automotive films tend to absorb more solar energy (heat) so they potentially could cause what is known as a pressure break. The inside pane of glass on a double pane window (thermal) could crack because the window unit had absorbed too much heat. Flat glass films reflect more of the heat lessening the possibility of pressure breaking.

      New Image has never used the cheaply manufactured films you find in the DIY section of your local retail box store but we are a dealer for commercial grade products which you can’t buy from a store or an online store such as Amazon. We use films with various compositions of manufacturing utilizing nickel-chromium metals, films with copper, low-e films using a proprietary blend of gold and silver alloy and will potentially be using a nano ceramic particle film in the near future. The stuff you buy from a store usually is the commercial rejected films which doesn’t get sold to dealers in the manufacturers “networks”

      The word expensive is relative to a couple different factors one of the most important factors being how long are you planning on residing in your home or being in your work space. The word expensive should be replaced with investment since the investment you’ll make in filming windows in your home for example hinges on how many windows you have, what exposure to the sun the windows are facing, how many square feet of living space you have in the home or office, how big your cooling unit(s) are in the building, factors like these. This is why a consultation with a professional tinting consultant is so crucial so these different factors and concerns can be addressed to see if this investment and future energy savings you‘ll experience can be beneficial and work within your budget.
